Octavo (19.5cm.); publisher's cloth in white printed dust jacket; xii,426pp. Light chipping to jacket extremities, most heavily at spine crown, some general soil and light foxing, spine darkened, corners bumped, else Very Good and sound. Ownership inscription on front free endpaper (dated 1945) of the Textile Workers Union of America Local 96, Stottville, N.Y. Presumed reprint, lacking the Farrar emblem on title page verso as called for by AHOUSE A57b. HANNA 3230: "A group of unemployed Californians form a cooperative during the Depression." See also BAIRD 2266 and COAN, p. 98.
