About This Item
New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1964. First Edition . Hardcover. Good +/No Jacket. The series listing ion the back cover ends with this title, so this is a first, or very early, printing of the first edition. The interior of the book is clean and tight, but the front free end paper has been removed and there are small brown tape ghosts on the front and rear end papers. The illustrated laminated covers are bright with light wear overall, but rubs at the corners and bumps to the top and bottom of the spine. This is an attractive copy at first glance, but the missing end paper and tape ghosts make it a decent reading copy only. The attached scans give a better idea of condition.
Synopsis
Nancy travels with her father and two close friends to visit her great-grandmother in Scotland and discovers the mystery of a missing family hierloom.
