Grosset & Dunlap, 1950. Cloth. Fine/Near Good. Slightly smaller book, blue cloth with darker blue logo for "Famous Sports Stories" on front, 168 heavy lightly browned pages, final pages uncut. DJ has color-illustration of boy hitting, a catcher and umpire on front and spine, list of titles advertised on back with red illustration of baseball and a football player, white back lightly browned. DJ has light wear to front bookfold edge, very slight wear to front tips, 3/4" tear at bottom front edge near tip, two microtears at bottom front edge nearer spine, very tiny tear and nicks at spine edge and nearby bottom front left, thin tiny tear with microtear at top back edge, tiny tears and micronicks along bottom back edge. Near Good DJ/Fine book.
