An inscription to the front pastedown 'For Edward' and signed by the author. First Edition. Len Deighton is a very popular spy novelist, considered to be one of the best alongside Ian Fleming and John le Carre. Some of his novels include 'Horse Under Water', 'Berlin Game', and 'Only When I Larf'. In a cloth binding with original dustwrapper. Externally, excellent condition. Minor bumping to the top and tail of the spine and a mark to the rear board. The dustwrapper is in lovely condition and is covered by a protective plastic wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Near Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
