This is the story of Cliff Palace, the crowning glory of Mesa Verde, CO which is set in a cave where it has resided since 1050 AD when construction began. Written by a Ranger Historian at Mesa Verde, he goes into detail of how the ruins were discovered and cared for before the National Park Service took over. He covers the eras of construction, what the various parts of the Cliff Palace were used for, and what caused their migration out of Mesa Verde. A clean very presentable copy.
