Illustrated dustwrapper with white and gold coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. Made into a movie in 1994 starring Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones. Mark and Ricky Sway had snuck away from the house to have a quiet smoke. But, what they saw, and heard, changed their lives for ever. Rubbing of the lower book edges with softening of the back strip edges. A very slight cock of the spine and the book covers are slightly rubbed. Light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Minor creasing of the dustwrapper edges and rubbing of the panels.
