Vol. #1; Trials of Sir Throckmorton, Duke of Norfolk, Dr. William Parry, Robert Earl of Essex and Sir Walter Raleigh. Vol. #2; Pictorial frontispiece. Drawing illustrations. Narrative of Guy Fawkes who was apprehended in the cellars of the House of Parliament with several barrels of gunpowder. Found guilty, was hung, drawn & quartered . Prior owners signature in both vols. Vol. #1 with handwritten notes on front endpaper. Small spine nick. Top corners with light wear. Half-title page with small mended edge tear "No Tape". Crime; Drawings; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 923 pages .
