Philadelphia: Carson & Simpson, 1891. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 4to. GOOD/NO DUST JACKETS. Vol. 5 & 6 ONLY> Written by the authors and orators of all countries. Vols. 5(1894) and 6(1891). Maroon cloth boards with morocco end papers and edges. The books are partial leather (including spine), with gilt, ornate, embossed lettering on cover plates. The spine is tooled leather.Both books show wear, especially on spine, corners are bumped and somewhat frayed. Front board is cracking on both volumes. Pages are clean and intact. Slight browning on edges from age. Former owner's name on front page.
