New York: Random House, 1942. Stated First Edition. Hardcover. Spine lightly faded else very good. Octavo; pp; (x0, 242; red cloth, top edge stained blue, spine lettered in gilt. Romantic drama first produced on Broadway in 1941 starring Lee J. Cobb and Tallulah Bankhead. The play would eventually be adapted into the 1952 film directed by Fritz Lang and starring Barbara Stanwyck, Paul Douglas, and Marilyn Monroe.
