London: Longman, Green, Longman and Roberts. Fair with no dust jacket. 1861. First Edition. Hardcover. Ex-library. Rebound in utilitarian library binding, blue cloth boards with black cloth spine. Page edges dyed blue. Library stamps and markings. Library rubber stamps on several leaves and plates. This copy is lacking the folding sheet of maps and the frontispiece. The half-title leaf is also lacking. All other illustrations present, including the folding plan of Salt Lake City. One text leaf has a 40mm tear, without loss (pp.387-8). Foxing to the title leaf. ; (iii)-x, [2], 707, [1] pages + 8 plates ( 1 folding). Lacking the frontispiece and the 3 maps on 1 folding sheet. Rebound. Page dimensions: 211 x 130mm. ; 8vo .
