Hardback, 1896, published by Thomas Baker, London, 376 pages + xxxx and 16-page publisher catalogue at rear.
Measures around 8 1/8" by 5 5/8" by 1 1/2". Red cloth binding, gilt lettering to spine. Some discolouration to spine. Scuffing and a little marking, some signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped corners. Binding has a degree of slackness and is strained in places. Page edges browned and a little marked and scuffed but reasonably clean for age. Slight crack to front inner hinge, substantial one to rear inner hinge, netting partially exposed, though holding. Rear encompassing index and catalogue are torn with corners missing. The off mark to page surfaces, though generally clean, with no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
