Jacket : rear panel has a number of holes (from silverfish), there is a 3 inch tear on the top edge of the rear panel, lower edge of rear panel is chipped, top & bottom of spine has slight chipping, front hinge is split, same silverfishing along front flap hing3). Despite the defects in the jacket, the gold, red & blue front panel illustration is untouched and is quite bright. This copy is inscribed by the author on the front endpaper: "Affectionately Yours / Inez G. Howard / (The Author).". Illustrated with b&w vignettes printed at the bottom of most pages. 2nd edition / 1st printing. Hard Cover. 142pp. 17 x 24cm. Signed: I Inscribed & Signed By Author
