Red halfleather over marbled boards, with gold printing on spines, raised bands, marbled endpapers. Both volumes containing 116 woodcuts and 70 excellent hand-colored plates. Moderate rubbing, to cover edges, scuffing to boards. Bumping along bottom cover edges. Gutters at covers show some wear but remain tight. Slight odor to volumes. Initials of former owner in gilt on lower spines. An important work of medieval history of the 14th century, covering the Hundred Years' War from 1325-1400. Record # 2231478
