A nice crisp copy in price-clipped pictorial dust wrapper, toned at the spine panel with a trace of minor spotting and three small areas of edge-loss. 'Donkey Boy' (1952). First edition. 8vo. Edges, endpapers, and several preliminary leaves spotted. Contemporary former owner name inked to the front free endpaper. A nice bright copy in pictorial dust wrapper, nicked with a little loss to the spine ends and with a trace of wear to occasional corner tips. 'Young Phillip Maddison' (1953). First edition. 8vo. 416pp. A sliver of discolouration to the upper edge of the boards, and a trace of very light partial toning to the free endpapers. Tiny dealer plate to the front pastedown. Very good in lightly rubbed and spotted pictorial dust wrapper. 'How Dear is Life' (1954). 8vo. 335pp + [i] advertisement. Some light partial toning to the free endpapers. Very good in pictorial dust wrapper, faded at the spine panel and a little nicked and chipped. 'A Fox Under My Cloak' (1955). First edition. 8vo. viii, 415pp. Top edge lightly spotted and the free endpapers partially toned and spotted. Very good in pictorial dust wrapper, with a trace of faint spotting and marking to the rear panel, and a little toning to the shite spine panel lettering. 'The Golden Virgin' (1957). First edition. 8vo. viii, 448pp. Edges spotted and the binding slightly pulled. A nice crisp copy in pictorial dust wrapper, lightly toned at the spine panel and with a single small area of edge-loss. 'Love and the Loveless' (1958). First edition. 8vo. viii, 384pp. The cloth lightly faded at the upper and lower boards. A very good copy in pictorial dust wrapper, very lightly faded at the spine panel and with some light chafing to several natural folds. 'A Text to Destruction' (1960). First edition. 8vo. viii, 461pp + [iii] advertisements. Edges very lightly spotted, and a small area of soiling to the fore-edge margin of four and five adjacent text leaves.
