Good: shows moderate wear to the extremities with the fabric worn through at the upper corner tip to expose the underlying board; some rubbing and soiling to the rear panel; much less to the front panel; former owner's name and date at the front free endpaper verso which also shows an outline drawing in ink of a cat and again the name at the rear rear free endpaper verso; several of Shepard's illustrations have been fairly neatly colored in but within some smudges at the opposite pages on a couple of them; some sort of game score tabulation in ink at the page facing the Table of Contents and with a small bit of scribble at the Table of Contents page itself ; the binding leans somewhat but remains secure. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. A good copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing moderate wear and numerous flaws, as described. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club or Ex-Library. 8vo. (7.75 x 5.5 x 1 inches). Illustrated with duotone drawings by Ernest H. Shepard. Language: English. Weight: 16.5 ounces. Hardcover: Lacks DJ. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 171 pages .
