Coward-McCann, 1938. First Edition. hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8x5x0. Signed by Author & Artist. #908/1000, signed by the author and illustrator. Pictorial slipcase is in poor condition, it's quite fragile with heavy wear and tears at the edges, old tape and splits. Original clear plastic dust jacket has chips at the corners, head/tail of the spine. Blue buckram boards with cream buckram spine are darkened at the edges, bumped on one corner. Interior fine condition, uncut pages, if you want to read the book it is scored on the top edges. All orders packed with care, independent bookseller since 2011
