Racine Wisconsin. 1942. 8vo, 32pp. Pictorial softcover with title and seven carollers in pastel tints in excellent condition with two unrusted spine staples in good order and a neat stamp of 'David Jones Melody Corner' discreetly placed at top right corner, text in very good condition with lightly tanned paper and minimal soiling only, designed with b/w illustration on the left hand of each opening.though with the centre leaflet (pges 15-18 ) now separated neatly from the spine stapling but no hint of any prior owner markings throughout. A slightly fragile reminder of bygone Christmases with the music and words of all verses of fifteen famous carols and with a brief explanation of the history of each carol at the rear of the book. Delightful, though not robust for heavy future use and stored in its own sealed archival protector.
