About This Item
Signed by both Heather Child and Dorothy Colles, and includes a rather lengthy personal letter from Dorothy Colles (written on a piece of stationary with an image of one of her works of art printed on it) to a Steven Nunn. Very rare; we have not seen another signed copy of this book, let alone one signed by both authors and including a personal letter.
Publishing house is listed as Charles Scribner's Sons New York on the inside, and has Bell on the spine of the dust jacket and the boards. Publishing location given as Great Britain. SBN is 684130939.
Dust jacket is present with a bit of wear and minor tears on the edges. It is clipped. No stickers/residue. The boards show some wear in the form of small faded spots, mostly on the very edges not protected by the jacket. No writing or markings noted beyond the signatures (which are not personalized beyond "With Best Wishes.") Pages are secure but the binding feels a bit loose and in places you can see the thread through the pages. Tanning and foxing are present in small amounts. Overall, a very nice copy for the age. Nonsmoking environment.
Reasonable offers will be considered. Will ship with signature confirmation.
