Set in 1799 after the uprising in Brittany, and deals with the military history of that period of time as well as a love story between a female aristocrat and a anti-revolutionary activist. Rubbing of the book edges with darkening of the back strip. Light tanning of the text block edges and pages. A little chipping of the dustwrapper corners and to the top back strip edge.
