About This Item
Toronto: Thomas Nelson & Sons. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. This book does not contain a publishing date, but the Library and Archives Canada catalogue shows it as being published some time in the 1940s [ 194-- ?]. The book is in excellent condition. The interior is crisp and clean. There is a small gift inscription to a former owner on the front free end paper, but no other marks or wear. The blue illustrated covers are bright, with just a touch of wear to tips and corners. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition. There is no dust jacket. Synopsis: after sitting ignored for years on a mantle, Touie You, a white china cat, comes alive and tries to find a home. After a series of unsatisfactory meetings with various animals (dog, robin, bunny, etc.) he finds a poor little old lady who takes him in and loves him.
