Near Fine in an about Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($2.00), lightly toned, small chips at the corners and head of the spine. Tan buckram, toned at the spine and edges, with brown ink lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with a brown top stain, clean internally. Hellman's debut play, one dedicated to her husband Dashiell Hammett. Adapted into the 1961 William Wyler film starring Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine, nominated to AFI's list of Top 10 courtroom dramas.
