Octavo.5.25 x 7.75 in. 306 pp. Very good in original purple cloth with some light page toning, in good dust jacket with several chips and tears, some sections missing, some toning. A lost race adventure novel in which a lost white heiress takes over an African tribe. A later work by Shiel, who is best remembered for his supernatural horror and science-fiction romances.
