Hardcover. Condition: Acceptable. The Viking Press, New York, 1935. Hardcover, [40] pp (unpaginated). First Edition, September 1935. In acceptable condition with NO dust jacket. Oversized Illustrated Paper over Boards with blue cloth on spine. Light bumping to edges and light to moderate overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well with some pencil residue from a child's scribbling that has been erased but has left some residue.
Binding tight. Previous owner's gift inscription on dedication page dated Christmas 1935. A few pages have some markings from a child's drawings with some faint pencils marks still noticeable.
Ex-Library book - sticker exists on inside from cover.
Lovely illustrations by the d'Aulaires'.
