FIrst Edition, First Printing. Near Fine in a Near Fine dustjacket. Signed on the title page by Robert Stone, no inscriptions. Purple cloth with gilt lettering and blue boards. Deckled pages. Binding is tight, book is square with a bit of sunning along top edge and light wear at base of spine. The interior is clean and free of any markings. The unclipped dustjacket shows original $17.95 price, has slight fading on spine, but is crisp and clean with no chips or tears. Protected in mylar cover. Robert Stone's fourth novel is the story of screenwriter and schizophrenic actress, both in serious decline. It's a somewhat negative view of Hollywood, loosely based on the author's personal experiences. Carefully packaged and shipped in a box.
