Both the front and back hinge have been reinforced with masking tape; there is a faded school stamp on the head of the half title page; a date due slip and library pocket on the back end paper and a small label on the tail of the jacket's spine. The body of the book is immaculate having been borrowed five times between 1976 and 1982. " Children of Green Knowe" is the first in Lucy Boston's six volume Green Knowe series.
Synopsis
A lonely young boy comes to live in an old English country house and has fanciful adventures with the children who played there generations ago.
