An ex-library copy with fraying/rubbing through bottoms of boards and spine ends. Tape shadows and moisture staining to boards and endpapers. Light staining to bottom corner of text block with slight ripple to bottom edge of same. Stamps, stickers and paper scars to endpapers and stamp to title page. Split to bottom third of front hinge at endpapers and rear hinge at verso of rfep with mull showing. Some slight warping to boards. Jacket is unclipped($8.95) with some light fading to spine and moisture staining to bottom edge of jacket, edge of front flap and inside of jacket. Some creasing to jacket and rippling to front panel. Slight cock to spine.
Synopsis
Children of Dune is a science fiction novel by Frank Herbert, third in a series of six novels set in the Dune universe. The novel was nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1977. It was originally serialized in Analog Science Fiction and Fact in 1976, and was the last Dune novel to be serialized before book publication. The novels Dune Messiah and Children of Dune were adapted into a well-received mini-series entitled Frank Herbert's Children of Dune by the Sci-Fi Channel in 2003.
