About This Item
New York: Delta Books, 1967. 4th printing (1st-1964) . Laminated ill.boards. Fine-/No Jacket (none issued). 13 Cm x 20 Cm. xiv+401, 8 pp. col.plates of children's pictures ex-pagination (some a little over-cropped-clearly a production fault); the only fault I can see is a trivial small thin crease in lamination to lower front cover. A classic study of African American children, primarily in the South, during the height of Civil Rights campaign, a blend of child-psychology, social psychology and political engagement. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
