Octavo; publisher's red cloth lettered in black; 56pp.; photographic portrait frontispiece, ten leaves of plates. Pinpoint wear to extremities, else Very Good or better. Inscribed and signed on half title: "To my old time pioneer friend who knows and appreciates Indians--Homer Reams [?] / 1939 / M.I. McCreight."

Posthumously published oral account of Chief Flying Hawk (1854-1931), combatant during the Great Sioux War of 1876 who, later in life, traveled with Buffalo Bill and the Great Wild West Shows as an educator and historian.
