Red cloth hardcover with ornate gilt embossed front cover and spine. Gilt stamped title on spine. All edges gilt. Ex-library copy from the Historical Society of Washington Virginia. Faint withdrawn stamps on the front end sheets. Old label removed from front paste down. Right front flyleaf removed. First front blank end paper has a closed tear. Rear end paper has a thin vertical section torn out. Corners bumped with small loss of cloth. Edge wear head and base of spine and corners. Moderate scattered foxing to the contents. Fair only.
