About This Item

Harrap London 1964 VG/G (dj is heavily repaired at top front and rubbed at all edges but with minimal loss) Large octavo 240pp illustrated with 'cartoon' line drawings. At the time this was written chicken had emerged from being a luxury dish but cooks were uninspired when using it. Here are wonderful recipes from France, Spain, Italy, Scandinavia, Greece and other European countries as well as the Far East, the United States and North Africa. You may have no need for Invalid Chicken Broth but Cherkes Tavagu (chicken with walnut sauce) should make your mouth water.
