New York: The Viking Press, 1945. Third printing, 1945. Grey cloth with patterned design, tinted top edge, illustrated endpapers, 294 pages. The book is in very good condition with a mild bump to the top of the spine and edge rubbing to bottom of rear cover, sound text block, good hinges, and other than address label affixed to front pastedown, hosts clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is priceclipped and is in very good condition with some spine panel chipping and rubbing to the spine panel creases. A very neatly closed tear extends one and a half inches down the spine panel, just adjacent to the front crease.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
