Only 1933 copies of this book were printed and bound. Protective mylar wraper around boards. Gold stamping has completely worn off spine. small tear to cloth at bottom edge of spine cloth. Previous owner has placed some small discrete checkmarks nest to some works. Blue ink and pencil checks... averaging about 1 every 10 pages or so. Binding is tight and square. Previous owner (Hope and Norman Hope... a charitable foundation based in NY) book plate pasted to front free endpaper.

The first book of the press as well as the pioneer volume, and a literal bible, for the first collectors of the genre.
