Octavo. 158pp., (6)pp. publisher's catalog at rear, illustrated, containing approved lines of play on the sixteen standard openings, with elaborate play on irregular games, traps and shots, practical positions, full instructions, the move and its changes and laws of the game. A fine copy bound in brown pictorial depicting a checker board and lettering in gilt, spine lettering gilt. Very nice.
