About This Item
New York: Dodd, Mead, 1903. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Top edges gilt. Elaborately decorated embossed green cloth boards with gold title by George Wharton Edwards as well as color decorations on every page. Five pages of black and white art by Harrison Fisher, with tissue protecting page. Book is fine but for an old inscription on front free endpaper "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year -- Mrs. Hawley. Dec. 25", and a light erasure on corner of that page. Book is a slightly darker green than my scan shows.
