About This Item
New York: Random House, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Near fine. First edition, first (and only) printing. Inscribed by Dean Koontz on the half-title: "To Gary Elswick, This first novel by the late K.R. Dwyer showed promise. Too bad he contracted terminal hangnail after his third novel. Fortunately, as literary executor of the Dwyer estate, I, at least, have continued to benefit, financially, from his work. As ever, Dean R. Koontz". The author's first hardcover novel, this book was revised and reissued in 1995 as part of Strange Highways. Octavo. Original orange paper-covered boards over a black spine, with silver titles. Faint bit of soiling to the fore-edge. The dust jacket is clean and bright. Better than very good.
