Hyatt, a British historian and travel writer. Illustrated by Harry Morley, a British painter, etcher and engraver. With the bookplates of William Alfred Westropp Foyle, a British bookseller and businessman who co-founded Foyles bookshop in 1903 with his brother Gilbert Foyle. Previously held in the library of Christopher Foyle, a British philanthropist and chairman of the famous Foyle's Bookshop in London. Bound by Otto Schulze & Co. Edinburgh. Bound in half red calf with marbled boards. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities and fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
