The first edition of this beautifully illustrated biography of Charles I in the original cloth. First edition of Charles I by Sir John Skelton in the original publisher's cloth binding. A lovely and densely illustrated biography and history. John Skelton was a Scottish author and lawyer, best known for his contributions to The Guardian and Blackwood's Magazine.
