About This Item

Cambridge: British Museum (Natural History) / Cambridge University Press 1987. 4to. viii., 747 pp., gilt lettered red cloth, looks to be unread. Still in the original acetate. Through a series of vastly influential writings, Darwin revolutionized the content and direction of science and permanently altered the shape of modern culture. In this volume are the notes he kept in the course of creating his body of work. Taken together these notes contain the core of his most important writing. This is a heavy item and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe. 0521350557 . Fine. Gilt Lettered Cloth. First Edition. 1987.
