Chicago: Herbert S. Stone & Company (Lakeside Press), 1896. First Edition. Very Good. Published during the Chicago Renaissance, this book's cover is notable as being illustrated as a partial lithography by A.E. Borie and with lettering of the title designed by Claude Bragdon. Bound in cream cloth over boards with lithorgraphic illustration in green, blue, and yellow on the front and rear. The spine is blue with yellow lettering. Covers somewhat soiled, but image is clear; corners gently bumped and a slight lean. Solidly bound. Gilded top edge, other edges rough cut.
