About This Item

New York: B.W. Huebsch, 1923. This is a Very Good copy of the Second Printing of the First Authorized American Edition of Joyce's first book. (It was originally published in 1907 by Elkin Mathews; in 1918 by Huebsch; a pirate American edition exists as well). Black paper-covered boards with gilt title on front cover. The spine lettering is blindstamped but not filled. Clean text; the book itself is unpaginated. The spine has been rubbed along the bottom of the front edge and the paper has torn a bit, exposing about 1/4" of net. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Second Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
