New York: Atheneum, 1983. First Edition. First printing Very good+ in 1/4 purple cloth and stamped brown paper boards with modest fading to the edges of the spine and boards. The top edge of the text block is stamped: Not For Resale (see below for explanation). In a very good jacket wiht the price intact on the front flap with a 3/4 closed tear at the upper edge of the front panel. Max Hennessy is the pseudonym used by John Harris. This is his second book in the trilogy of founding of the R.A.F. The book is stamped "Not for Sale" on the title page indicating that it was a review copy.
