About This Item

Ottawa: Sabre Model Supplies, 1984. Quarto, illustrated wrappers, 52 pp., illustrated. Minor creasing on the front cover, a very good copy. Initial design of the Voodoo commenced as far back as June 1946, when, due to the massive losses of allied bombers during World War II it became a subject of some concern to the USAAF that they lacked a long-range penetration/escort fighter to accompany the B-29, the re-engined B-50 and the Convair B-36.
