Adam and Charles Black, 1910. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1910. No Edition Remarks. 88 pages. No dust jacket. Orange pictorial boards with black and gilt lettering. Contains colour illustrated plates by Allan Stewart and Mrs. C. Creyke. Front free endpaper is missing. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed, with former owner's inscription to reverse of frontispiece. Mild cracking to hinge and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning and foxing to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Boards are slightly bowed. Water drops down spine. Light mottling to rear board.
