Delivers commentary on Whitman's best-known book by prominent authors including Thoreau and Whitman himself. Condition of this book: Age-toning to covers and endpages, spine slanted, inch-long split in rear joint cloth, overall very good. Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
