Reese. profusely illustrated with distinctive b/w photographs and drawings on plates at rear, six pages of Arabic text. Excavation executed under extreme time constraints. "The only real key to a close dating of the Alia Airport cemetery is the coin from Grave 60. The coin is in extremely poor condition,. Still, we feel relatively confident in giving it terminus ante quem of A.D. 244. The other coins do not appear to be later, nor much earlier, all belonging to the late second or early third century." (Author). Binding with light wear along edges. Exlibris on inside front cover. Binding in overall very good, interior in near fine condition.
