Scarce book of essays by Edward Thomas concerned with the Celtic folklore. Edward Thomas was a British writer of poetry and prose. A prolific critic, biographer, nature writer and travel writer as well as poet; he died in battle during the Battle of Arras in 1917 in World War I. He is considered to be a war poet. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally smart with light shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, boards and back strip gently marked. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
