New York: Delacorte Press, 1985. First Edition. Cloth. Good/Good. First edition, stated first printing. Blue paper covered boards with brown cloth spine, in unclipped dust jacket. Signed by the author, with a brief inscription, on the first endpaper. 311 pp. Another installment of this detective series featuring Parker's private eye, Spenser. GOOD condition. Minor soiling, scuffing and fading to the jacket. Extremities bumped, frayed and worn, with minor chipping peeling and loss to the head and tail. Book faded, with minor scuffing and edgewear. Faint dampstain to the top page edges near the spine. Titles checked off in pencil, with another title written in, facing title page.
