'This Book, published by the Great Western Railway Company, Paddington, London, has been printed by Spottiswoode, Ballantyne... under the typographical direction of William Gordon Tucker working in co-operation with the responsible officials of the Great Western Railway. The photographs (excepting 14) were taken by the Great Western Railway Company's staff photographers, and the Pen-and-Ink Drawings are by William M. Hendy. The Architectural Section is by Martin S.
