A second thriller set in South Africa by the author whose first 'The Steam Pig' won the Crime Writers' Award for the best crime novel of 1971. James Howe McClure (9 October 1939, Johannesburg, South Africa 17 June 2006, Oxford, England) was a British author and journalist best known for his Kramer and Zondi mysteries set in South Africa. In a grey paper binding in an unclipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, sound with slight rubbing. Spine is slightly cocked. There is an 'uncorrected' ink stamp to the front board. Dustwrapper is generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Good
