A second thriller set in South Africa by the author whose first 'The Steam Pig' won the Crime Writers' Award for the best crime novel of 1971. James Howe McClure (9 October 1939, Johannesburg, South Africa – 17 June 2006, Oxford, England) was a British author and journalist best known for his Kramer and Zondi mysteries set in South Africa. In a red cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine in a clipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, smart. Minor shelfwear to the boards. Dustwrapper is smart with just minor edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
